There are many options, and we can discuss those with you as part of your planning process. Among your choices: cement or wood blocking, cement posts, cement footing, screw posts.
The first step is a building permit, and we follow the codes closely to make sure our product meets or exceeds the standards set for tiny homes. Your home will be insulated to proper R values, the roof will be designed to withstand snow load in our Canadian winters, and electrical and plumbing will all be inspected. Upon completion, your new home will come with a conditional occupancy permit before it leaves our site, and will qualify for a full occupancy permit once it is set up on your site with a completed NSP (Nova Scotia Power) connection.
